The hydraulically folding field roller from ZIEGLER finds many applications. It can be used to improve soil structure and reduce soil erosion. Perfect for reconsolidating loose arable soils, as well as for breaking up large clods of soil. Seed emergence and soil moisture content are visibly improved, and slug infestations can even be reduced. It is also perfect for restoring the soil seal in spring after the ground has frozen or for leveling reseeding in grassland. The optional harrow is hydraulically adjustable. Even more aggressiveness can be adjusted on harrow by means of its own hand crank. The harrow tines are secured against loss with a wire rope. Particularly convincing is the robust construction of our field rollers in combination with durability and ease of maintenance: all moving parts are equipped with bushings for easy maintenance even after several years. The optionally available Crossboard is perfect for use in the field, it is extremely sturdily built and has wide paddles: the corn stubble is bent, the stalks are broken up, corn borers are thus effectively controlled. The Crossboard also does a great job of effectively leveling the field on coarse dirt, and the spring-loaded paddles effectively break up clods. All rollers can be equipped with pneumatic intercrop seeders. This turns your roller into a seed drill – for reseeding and catch crops.
